From M27 J12/A27

Route: Follow signs for 'Portsmouth West' via M27 J12/A27 and M275, then follow signs for Southsea. At the roundabout at the end of the M275 continue straight over the roundabout and then take the third exit into Market Way. Go straight over the mini roundabout and then straight on at two more sets of traffic lights into Anglesea Road, you will see Victoria Swimming Pool on your left. At the next junction, still following the Southsea signs, follow the road around to the left bearing right almost immediately and then go straight on into Hampshire Terrace. Continue straight over the next roundabout into Kings Terrace and at the next roundabout take the first exit (left) into Duisburg Way. Continue straight on and taking the second left into Osborne Road by the Queens Hotel. Continue straight on along Osborne Road which becomes Clarendon Road. At the next roundabout take the first exit into Waverley Road. Abbey Lodge Guest House is 400m on the right hand side of the road, with a bright yellow B&B sign outside, just like the photo on the Home page..

Trains from Fratton reach London Waterloo in approximately an hour and a half. There are also direct trains to Southampton, Bristol, Cardiff, the Midlands and along the South Coast to Brighton. Abbey Lodge Guest House is less than a mile from Fratton Station and can be comfortably walked in 20 minutes or driven in 5 minutes by car. Leaving the platform at Fratton station, at the top of the footbridge turn left and exit onto Goldsmith Avenue. Cross the road at the pedestrian lights and turn right. At the roundabout turn first left into Fawcett Road and cross the mini roundabout further down into Lawrence Road. Go straight over at the traffic lights into Waverley Road. Abbey Lodge Guest House is on the left in about 500m just after Waverley Park: You will see the bright yellow B&B sign outside as you walk down Waverley Road. Fratton Station is excellently served with local taxis: The taxi rank is reached by turning right on the footbridge as you leave the platform.

Abbey Lodge Guest House is approximately 30 minutes drive (21 miles) from Southampton International Airport by road. From the airport terminal, follow the signs to the M27 and join at junction 5 towards Portsmouth: Leave at junction 12 and follow the directions as above driving down the M275. You may also take a Train from the adjacent Southampton Parkway Station to Fratton.
